The entire design is built around the use of these unfriendly-to-older-browser elements. Besides that, the skin's very appearance morphed into something that really isn't appropriate for a design site, which in my mind should have a clean, slick look. In truth, the design I'm working on is a bit much for that sort of thing, and most likely wouldn't appeal to a very broad range of people.
