Default Blushing Smilies. (W.I.P)

I've decided to give multi-coloured pack emoticons a break and recently (past 2 smilie releases) a consistent colour base. I'm mainly looking for some feedback and a critique for my latest (all the same colour) emoticon set.

Any feedback, comment or criticism would be appreciated (screenshot below).

I think the red background is a bit over-powering and thus dampens the rest of the image, if you make that a bit lighter or change it slightly it would look a bit better.

Ignoring that they look pretty good .

Are you referring to the blushing area on both sides of the emoticons cheeks nick? If so, I think I agree with you. It's only a 2 second adjustment for me to do by simply lowering the opacity and/or changing the blending modes whichever effect turns out best.

I'm still tinkering with this set so anything else in the way of suggestions would be great. I'll post some updated screenshots as time permits so you know how this image sets turns out.

Thanks Nick for the feedback.

How does the tweaking colour I made look and compare to the first set of previews nick? I'm referring to the first emoticon (starting on the left). The others were just colours I'm experimenting with (future packs) but this pack will contain all the same colours and not the multi-coloured for each emoticon.

The adjustments I made were minor changes to the adjustment layer and the change of the blending mode for that specific layer and a simple lowering of the opacity value for the blush part.

As always they look good, but there's something about the eyes. Everytime I look at them I think the poor guys getting a prostate exam or something Maybe it has something to do with the eyebrows...
