All the more reason to be suspicious of it...

Yeah it's sad to see sites like this I remember when I used to love taz. Now I see they're biased and not what I first thought they were. Sad...

Yes, I can tell by the ... navbar mention I have plastered in gigantic 10-pixel-tall font. It's pure bombardment I tell you!
Seriously though, yeah they went a little over the top at the start, but it quickly calmed down. All I have now is a navbar entry that's very easy to ignore. What's the big deal?

sorta like Hitler did eh ;)
I can't confirm if you're actually banned or not, but lets say you are.
Quick history lesson:
Hitler: Among other things, he oversaw the killing of 11 million people through slavery, starvation, gassing and disease.
TAZ [group]: Banned you for having an opinion they didn't like.

Yeah I can see how those two are interchangable!

Look, I'm not gonna draw out a huge argument over Zoints or TAZ's policies. However comparing them to the nazi regime is seriously misguided. And for the third and final time it comes down to one thing: If you don't like, don't use, the same as any other site on the Internet. For the many people that do like there is no problem.

Colonel: Of course. I'm not saying they're good, nor am I saying they're bad (though both words are relative; they are what you make them to be).
My participation wasn't to plug or recommend Zoints, it's to bring fairness to what seems to be a largely bash-them thread.

Thats actually quite impressive. I read a lot more and I think i'm going to give Zoints a try. Numbers don't lie, and a couple people in this thread seem to be trying a little too hard to sway opinions. You know, the whole "thou doth protest too much" thing.

Thanks for sharing those statistics. ^_^

I use Google Adwords to bring people to my forum. The topic of my forum is very competitive and I am not ranked well in the search engines. The minimum bid on Google Adwords for my topic is $0.50. So a couple hundred uniques per month like that would be like me spending $100.00+

50 cents a click? That means you have a bad CTR.

No, actually it does not. It means that my forum is about a competitive topic. The top bidders big upwards of $10.00 for a single click!

When people use hitler as a reference they are usually referring to either unfair control, or hatred/prejudice about something. I have known many admins that immaturely run their forums this way. A good admin is unbiased and open-minded. If someone is banned just for stating their opinion, provided they didn't swear while making that opinion, then that admin is probably biased. Nuff said

Agreed.
