Default Why do you run your vb forum?

I run my main forum for my family, they have no clue about vb administration or any html, php etc. I started the forum for them and now its got 3000 members i am stuck as admin!!! As im not that interested in the forum subject but my family are, the reason i stay involved with the site is for learning and i find it fun and interesting to see what can be done with vb..
Why do you run yours? Is it about a hobby you like or for work purposes?
Or maybe you want to try and make money from it.Perhaps you just like helping people?
Let us know.....

I run my forum purely as a hobby. I've always been interest in developing graphic enhancements for bulletin boards. It's coincidence that people benefit from it and I get a good amount of visitors & members benefiting from creations I design.

It's all good.

Forums are a great way to learn about coding and developing graphics, and to help others at the same time ;)

I too run my forum as a hobby. Its started out as a paranormal forum, but kind of grew into a forum of a bit of everything more like general chat now though .......

Still very new to this and learning very slowly though
