friscogal is on a distinguished road

Question VBshout 2.1 not working on Firefox

i have vbshout 2.1 installed and realize it is the reason my forum is not working on firefox. when people use firefox it shows the forum but they don't see any threads...any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes it is...i disabled each hack one at a time to se what was causing the forum not to be compatible with firefox. when i disabled vbshout, firefox worked.

Im getting an error on IE which is causing your page to load very slowly,I think it could be the smilies in your shoutbox. Why not try disabling use of the smilies in the shout and see if it works..

It loads fine for me even if it does take a little while. I tried in IE7 and FF2

It actually looks like another hack is commenting out half the code. It could be the timestamp hack but it may also be something else. I suggest you undo the timestamp hack and then see what happens.

it was a problem before i put the timestamp hack in...i had vbshout installed w/o timestamp and it still did not work
