Is it going to allow you to incorperate styles?

I paid full price for a liscense and even paid someone to install it..... What a waste of money.....

Is it not good in your opinion?

I switched from using virtuanews to vbPortal on my old site and I felt the same as Richieboy67... What a waste of money. I found it to be a most difficult piece of software to figure out.

First for the positive side of the software... The install was quick, easy and painless. It's filled with features galore, has a ton of hacks available and the support via their forums is fairly good. Now for the negative side of things... The help guide is the most confusing thing I've ever tried to figure out. I found the admin control panel to be just as confusing. I've used several CMSs in the past and have always been able to install, and do the initial set-up within an hour to a few hours and hence be able to have it live the same day. When it came to vbPortal a few days later and I was still trying to figure out how to get the simplest things done and that's when I decided to can it.

That being said I'm sure that once you're completely familiar/comfortable with the software you'd probably be quite pleased with the product and would therefore highly recommend it to others. Unfortunately I didn't have this experience...

Hmm, I see.
On my old site I was always running vBadvanced CMPS, which did the job.
However, at the site I'm working on now I'm coding a custom portal, as the free ones are just not origional enough IMO.
