Default vBhosting

How do you guys feel about the vBhosting hack being 'temporarily' removed from vb.org?

Seeing as the License say

Each licence may power one instance of the Software on one domain. For each installed instance of the Software, a separate licence is required.
That there should be nothing wrong with it. my $0.02

Legally their isn't anything wrong with vbhosting. It's just that its automated that bothers them and as kier said its agains the "spirit" of the LA which means **** in a court of law.

Well, after all, this site was statred to provide a hacks DB free from the vB.org politics. Most people have agreed (in their opinion) that it doesn't actually violate the LA, so there shouldn't be any real harm in hosting it I'd think. Just don't want to annoy Jelsoft too much, otherwise they may go out of their way to make life harder here. (Just a thought to be considered.)

Legally their isn't anything they can do. They revoke a LA because of vbhosting I hope they are ready for a legal battle. As my sites going to start using it.

But now since Wayne (no offense to him of course) is incharge of overseeing vb.org and vbtemplates - It wont come back at all.

If it was posted here, it would most likely stay here.

Well, perhaps it's time to contact the author and invite him to post it...

I'll take a stab at it, no promises. I would also like to see alot other hacks out that are either banned or they just don't post them cause of vb.org. Like the 'lockdown' hack.

Yeah, and there are probably quite a few hacks that would be released, just that people don't want to go thru the hassel of dealing with vB.org. Hacks like the now famous lockdown hack violate nothing, and yet remain banned. Hopefully with this site hacks like this will finally see the light of day again.
