How does is work? How can it be done? Can someone please tell me how vbulletin is modified to create an online marketplace?

Is there a special plugin being used?

Look at 3 examples of online marketplaces being used with vBulletin.

1) Earners Marketplace - Buy & Sell Domains, Websites & Promote Your Services
2) SitePoint Marketplace
3) http://www.trickfly.com/forum/

Iam working hard to develop my own online marketplace, since I already own a vBulletin script, it makes sense for me to use it in the same manner in the example above but I dont have any clue on how it can be accomplished.

Does anyone on this forum know how to modify vBulletin is this way.

How much will it cost me to get a vbulletin marketplace built on my domain name?

Please help me out....Please

They are all custom coded. Probably a pretty penny too ;)

Why even bother with vB for this? Just install WordPress and use one of their plugins. It won't cost you a dime and will work great

I didn't know that Wordpress could be set up to create an online marketplace..please share more info. this is the type of info that can be turned into a Great article. thanks for sharing...

No problem kissy. I wrote an article about it last year, as well as one about getting better search engine ranking for your site via Wordpress, but unfortunately my server is down. I'll send you the link that you need for the plugin. Hope it helps
