I am not too familiar with adsense, but I am considering integrating it in my forum. Does adsense really make money for any of you guys? My forum has approx. 16,000 members / 350,000 posts in 18 months. How I currently make money through ads is to sell banner ad space with my existing merchant account (I usually charge anywhere between $150 and up depending on duration)

I am considernig adsense if it's going to add additional revenue for me. Question about adsense.. Will it give me anymore $$ that's worthwhile (not pennies/click and buy 2 burgers at the end of the month for the intrusive ads)?

Just curious to see if adsense is worth looking into

I don't have a site that large yet but for mine, about 1,000 users, it makes maybe 50$ a month, I could do some better blending and I split the ad space with other banners.

How many active users do you have ? if you have 10,000 I'm sure you could make more then 150 a month with it.

Most adsense revenue is from guest traffic not members. The better traffic you have the better your income will be. At the same time, the more relevent the ads to your content, the more your income will be. Usually it's someone that found your site in a search and found that it's not really what they are searching for. Then they may click on adsense links that apear to be more of a match and continue on their quest.
