Default Features You'd Like To See

What features would you like to see added to vbulletin in the future or perhaps made as hacks? I'm sure this would be a good thread for coders and maybe even the vb staff to resort to.

A build in SEO option. To rewrite urls & make a good .htaccess. Guess that would attract alot of users. Also it would be nice like Senna to have a very good statistics page, vbulletin info but also like the nedstat counters etc.

A hack for newsgroup posting,

Allow you to upload .nzb files to forum with information of what newsgroup it is from, how large the file and what forum you want it to go in,

Done as a form like hack called submit nzb or something like that, alittle bit like the vbhack hack

I wouldn't mind more stats. The problem would be defining what to make stats from - different people have different demands.
Plus they'd have to be cached which means more in the datastore which means more memory used on every page. Probably best left as an addon.

I would like to see the new threads // new posts // user activity etc stats made available to everyone, not just admin.

<== might be releasing an overkill stats page soon.

Jack, I doubt you'll get anything like that given the nature of most usenet binaries and the RIAA's rampage on everyone who has ears or eyes.

I echo the "stats"... something like Google Analytics, built-in to the forum software. I'd use Google, but they are the evil empire.

More hooks in the core classes. A much better/robust Paid Subscriptions system.

Oh I thought it was a term you had used rather than an actual coding term.
