I'd like a custom hack to keep track of events for bands.

basically, this is what I'm looking for.
1) member groups will be defined to designate a member as a band rep, or a location rep (such as a concert hall, bar, etc.).
2) band reps will have a custom profile field to designate what band they belong to, and the bands website, the same with location reps.
3) These membergroups will be able to add, update, and delete events in a calendar, not the vbulletin default calendar, which doesn't work that well. This calendar table will include the event date, time, location, band, and event information.
4) Admins and mods would be able to add/edit the information also naturally.
5) Once this was operable, a vbulletin page will be available for the general public to view upcoming events, sortable/searchable by band, location, or date.

I'll provide more information and the existing legacy database information on request. I can also provide much of coding for the reporting piece of this (#5 above) if somebody just wants to spend the time with creating the user interface.
