Using Directories to my advantage..

Directories are an easy way to get some traffic from users and SE Bots very early on for your site. But there are ways to do it and ways not to do it. Don't go overboard and apply to 1000 directories a day, that won't help. And don't apply to every directory with the same backlink or the same anchor text, this won't help you either.

Remember you want diversity in your links and you want relevancy. There is a fine line between quanity and quality and in moderation both can be used to your advantage.

If anyone would like to post a list of free directories that would be great!
