Default Should I allow sig links?

Now this is a topic of much debate and I can understand both sides, but I will give you my .02 .

As long as the links don't go to a porno/racist/hate site or something similar I'm ok with it. I don't even care if it's a competitor site. People want to be able to move around the Net freely so why not let them. If your site is as good as you think they will continue to return.

In the end I say give your users what they want, freedom to show people what they like.

I agree with this. I would however suggest adding limitations to the size of the sigs, as it might cause serious loading problems for the 56k users if the sigs are too big.
