On my larger forums we have between 15-30 staff members, how about you?

i got 5 admins . 7 modirators and 3 super modirators.

I always keep the s. mods and admins as limited as possible. The normal mods there's pretty much 1 or 2 per section, sometimes less.

admins: very limited max. 3-5
smods: max.1/category
mods: max. 3/forum and max. 1/100 active members

for this site this would make (excepts admins): 2 smods and 8 mods

On my small-ish forum, 2 admin + 3 mods:

1 admin cos she knows what she's doing for the board genre more than I do (I got it more to hack than to run).
1 admin (me) to code and look after the technical side, and advising her.
3 carefully chosen and trusted mods who don't have all that much to moderate at the moment, but were* full of energy and keep the place alive.

* Full moon seems to have hit and they've all gone very quiet very suddenly, soon to be replaced if they don't answer their PMs... but for the purposes of this answer they kept things going when they were around.

At the moment I only have a forum with a member base of 56 (Started the website 5 days ago, still a steady growth rate), so I don't have much of a need for plentiful amounts of staff.
