1. Ok here is something that takes a little more time, but is well worth the wait. I like to call this SUUCK, Scooping Up Un-Competitive Keywords. (haha, what a great name) Ok anways. Lets use for example, Widgets. Everybody and there mother are trying to get listed in the SEs for the main word. And probably a few other phrases around that main word like "cheap widgets" or "free widgets". And those keywords probably bring lots and lots of traffic, but will also take lots of time/money/energy to break the top 10 in the SEs.

So I propose you do a search here using your main keyword. This will then spit out a list of more phrases that people are using with your keywords. Go down the list and pick words with XX amount of searches. (When you get better, move onto the XXX).

Now create a page using that keyword as your basis and name the page thatkeyword.html . Try to keep the page short and to the point and make use of the <h1><h2> etc tags. Also make sure the only outbound link is to your main site, and maybe throw up a banner advertising your main site. Remember this is just a come through page. You may also want to store in a subdirectory which is named after that very first competitive word i.e. /widget/ .

After doing this point a few links to that page with your anchor texted IBL and wait for the bots to index it. (Take use of this if you can, I find it works great). It may take a while, but just sit back and relax and forget about the page. I guarantee you eventually a few SEs will pick it up and list you well.

I've been doing this for a while and have seen pages rank as quickly as a week. And bring in 200-300 uniques daily.

It's easy/fast and you don't have to worry about it. And it gets even more interesting when you start introducing adsense ads into the equation.
