This would be great if it used the site skin for the body of the e-mail

Oh sorry didn't see this. Yah go ahead and do it.

And that is a great suggestion about the skin being the email.

Thanks Rex. We'll be playing around with this today. Should be easy to add and gives the e-mail a great site 'signature' look

Would also be nice if the system saved the e-mail code so that you could reuse it again later.

Tested and confirmed to work in vB 3.6 Beta 3. We just sent ourselves a Flash e-mail :nervous:

Newbies need to understand that these files that you modify are on the server, NOT your templates. Then go to ACP > Users > Send EMail to users and fill out the form, click send, then click 'Next Page. E-mail has now been sent.

Quick question for coders. Is there a way to add the send button under where it says 'Send HTML E-Mail' so that admins don't have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page each time they use this?

Also, is there a way to add or change where the e-mail is coming form? Would be much nicer if the e-mails said the forums name instead of their address (VB Hackers vs. admin@vbhackers). Thanks

I would try posting that in the General or Request Section.

Thanks, we'll do that now. Amazingly it is supposed to say 'send' there if you look at the php file...
