I haven't touched it, I copied all the files from my local and added them all into the htdocs folder and left em. So I have to go into the config.php file huh? hm..

what do i need to put in there, because its empty as of now.

You'll have to reconfigure it. Simply open up a default config.php and set the database (localhost), username (root) and password (password).

i edited everything and when i try to install this is what happens

How do you guys test your forums since those packages have different php and mysql version from your real host ??

If you right click on the page and click view source you'll be able to see what the actual error is, post it here. It's not use just saying you have a db error...
