Template Modification
This mod allows users to change the colors of their profile. It's not very pretty, but it works.

Screenshot below and follow the instructions in the index.html in file given.

v 1.2
Fixed for normal User Profiles and Chooser for users if they wish to use this mod at all or not.

v 1.3
Fixed a couple more bugs, should work fine now

ignore the first question, I think whatever I was talking about I fixed.

Yes only in I.E

In firefox and Opera it works great.

Remember though, this is only if in the user profile I set a background color and nothing else. ( I dont set the table box colors, text, etc) just a background color.

here is my code:

tis' why I only use FF, hmm... not sure why it wouldn't work in IE, but 1/2 of the stuff I make never does. it works fine on my forums with IE, so I have no clue, I'll look into it. I did upgrade to vb 3.6 today and it works fine in 3.6 so I'm not sure

Well, I reverted my entire memberprofile template, to the original and it still doesnt work, so that tells that its not the coding anywhere. Wonder if there were drastic 3.6 memberinfo template changes (I doubt). Was it working when u were on 3.5.4? Hmmm, this is so bizarre

I dunno, if you view my source code when viewing my member profile though for example, it shows the CSS 2x.

for example, if I do a FIND (F3) and look for .page or Body. I get it twice. Probably because it uses the CSS code I have in my memberinfo template and the CSS code that VB has by default. Maybe that's the issue

N/M I dont think thats the problem from what I just tested

Think I might have found a workaround ;)

With a few IF conditions

Did you say if yes then custom CSS and if no then $headinclude

I was thinking of doing this myself

Actually I wrapped some of my css around an if condition. If its not equal to blank, then apply the standard style css definations.

Here is an example
