New Posting Features - Thread Starter Recognition

This hack signifies who the original thread starter is throughout an entire thread. It's a great feature for multi-page and extra long threads. This modification will work for either postbit style, and comes in a choice of four image colors (black, white, red and blue) to match any postbit background!

It's a great way to encourage members to start new threads because only they will receive the 'Thread Starter' image in their postbit. See screenshot below for more information. This modification has been fully tested and works in both 3.5.x and 3.6.x versions of vB. Enjoy

Once the members 'catch on' to what it does, you should start seeing more new threads posted. On 5 other forums who have tested it, that's been their results and ours as well ;)

Thanks for the great compliment G_man Yes you can use any image that you'd like. I only supplied the four images in the hack basically because a lot of people simply don't know how to make images, and I wanted this hack to be complete so that you could use it right 'out of the box'

If I find some time later I’ll make some other images for it too. This is a really cool little hack and is one of our favorites. It’s easy to install - but also adds a lot extra custom flare to the postbit.

This hack has just been UPDATED and will only be available here at vBHackers. Enjoy ;)
