Template Modification
This was inspired by Colonel Ingus' hack "Don't Crowd the Sig" and the Frame your Postbit Profile Hack here, by evofile.

This eliminates that little seperator bar, which looks totally tacky in my opinion and frames your Members Signatures.

Doesn't show up well in the screenshot, but this thread is a good example. ;)

I'd be happy to support this hack, but truth be told the other coders here probably understand it better than I do! I can help anyone unfamiliar with template edit, but hopefully any other questions will get picked up by some of the helpful staff here.

First find this:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
It should be the same in Postbit_Legacy or Postbit Templates.

Delete this:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Then replace the first div statement with this...

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
the final result should look like this:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
You can change the 30 and the 10 to whatever you like, but that seems to work great for a spacer.

Big Thanks to Colonel Ingus and Rogersnm for suggesting some improvements. ;)

ummmm I must be missing something? Because I still see a separator line and the sig images rammed smack up
against the underside of it. I definitely do not see a fieldset.

??

The border around mine is alot thicker than what is displayed on your example site, how can I set it to 1px?

Still looking into this... I hacked my Darker Style and it looks just like yours...

I still like it that way, but I can see if I can figure why it appears larger.

Check your CSS settings. All parameters for fieldsets are kept there ;)

Great idea for a hack G_man

BTW - shouldn't there be a closing </ fieldset> tag?

Cheers!

You know... I would think so too... probably go after the last </ div> ....

I noticed that there was NOT one on evofile's hack though... been using that one for ages, with no problems at all.

Try this:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
You should also be able to add mouseover effects to this. Include them to the CSS and they'll work on all of the boards fieldsets which will add an extra dimension to the board

Curious... is there a way to make this "frame" small if the sig is small and grow with the size of the sig?
In other words, variable size, according to the size (width and height) of the sig.
