Template Modification
I remember seeing something like this somewhere and i noticed that it wasnt well implemented so i made my own. NONE OF THE ORIGINAL CODES BY THE AUTHOER WHO'S NAME I CANT REMEMBER HAS BEEN USED!

Step1:
Goto AdminCP => Custom BBCodes => Manage BBCodes => Add new BBCODE

Step 2:

Title:

iFrame BBCODES

tag:
if

replacement:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
You can adjust the size of the window by editing these two lines:

this bbcode is used to place a window of a web page within the forum page ?

Hi.

This is a great addition. I write a lot of articles on my site about local interests and now I can put the live website right into the article.

This would be beyond cool if you could make this sort of modification:

On the top bar where it says "Go to the site directly", change it to be:

Remote Site Controls: Home | Back | Forward | Refresh | Go To

With the appropriate links added. I don't have the programming skills to know how to do this.

I did make one small modification for my site. I added two iFrame BBcodes. I didn't use the [if] tag. I made two new tags for [sitesmall] and [sitefull]. the [sitesmall] tag is the default 600 x 400 window which is good inside articles. The [sitefull] tag is a 850 x 900 window which I use as a sticky message for hosted sections that have associated websites.

Sorry guys i was on holiday for the last two weeks. yes you can navigate within the iFrame without leaving the site ;)
