I hope this hasn't been posted before lol.

What this does is well, it makes the signature look better. It has a fieldset, and it says "Username's Signature" on top. I can't explain it properly, so I have a picture.

FIRST (you need this or it will just say your username)

Admin CP->Languages and Phrases->Phrase Manager->Add Phrase

The varname should be adv_sig.

The text should be 's Signature.

Edit the theme templates, and then edit Postbit Templates->postbit.

Find:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Replace with:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
And it will output as my screenshot.

My username at the forum I took the screenshot at is .Paradox. (I think I spelled plane wrong )

Also, later I'll update it so it uses legitimate phrases.

EDIT:::::Someone did already make this

Well, mine has different text lol.

lmao, I made this a LONG time ago as well.. pretty easy setup...

Also, side note to add to yours ;)

If you want it to display your usergroup colored name, do $post[musername]

Hmm, I tried that on my other forum and it didn't work, so I didn't post it.

For an odd reason it works fine on another forum, but it runs on 3.7.0, not 3.6.8.

$post[username] will display just Dennis

but $post[musername] will display Dennis (if my group color was red)

No, no, I knew that. In fact, I called a search and replace to replace $post[username] with $post[musername] in all templates.

What I said was, it didn't work on 3.6.8 for some reason (the musername) but did on 3.7.0.
