Mini Mods - Adding links to the Quick links bar

To Add links to the quick links bar, you have to change the navbar template.

-- Open your AdminCP and open the navbar template

-- find

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

-- Add below

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

-- change YOUR LINK HERE and URL NAME to your values

-- All done... You can use this code as many times as you want

UPDATE -- MAY NOT WORK ON VERSIONS OTHER THAN 3.5.4 AS THIS IS THE ONLY ONE I HAVE AND HAVE TESTED ON

xodia, this is the answer to my needs on my forum ...forget about possible added Jump menu's on the navbar..this is fantastic, and where they all should be too; on Quick Links! Works a treat!

UPDATE- THE LINK NO LONGER WORKING AS MOVED TO NEW SERVER, WILL GET THE NEW LINK ON ASAP... i have to put it into my sys first

Ok thank you for this info. But where would I find the link and url info for say WOL to add to the drop down? Or say a peticular forum or function?

if you are looking to add a new link to a forum, you would have to copy and paste....

e.g.

http://WWW.YOURHOST.COM/YOURFORUM/forumdisplay.php?f=2

This is found at the top of your browser, in the address bar...
