Miscellaneous Hacks - Simple pjirc integration

This hack will allow you to run the pjirc java applet in a vB3 driven page.
It will sort out the user name posted from a form, sent in the URL or for
a logged in user from vB globals.

You can have a link that sorts out the user in advance and sends the nick
in the URL, perhaps on forumhome...

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

You can have a html page with a form that asks for a nickname.
(utilized for guests in this version of the hack.)

Logged in users nicknames are sorted out with vB globals if a logged in user goes directly to irc.php.

Guests will get the login form unless you restrict guests.

It's a quick and easy to install and it's easy to maintain during vB upgrades.

One thing that can become and issue. The irc server we use does not allow usernames to start with a number. The clean_name function does not srtip numbers, they don't get connected.

I'm getting something weird and I can't for the life of me figure out why. It seems to connect with no problems, but the display is wacky. Instead public, private, and change nick it get unclassified string in their stead. I've tried two different types of pjirc and the results are the same, so I imagine it has to do with some of the custom code, but I can't locate it. Any clues?
