As requested here: Marqueeeing or scrolling info/news hack.

What this does
This will show you a news box on your forumhome page with your sites news in it.

Features:

Completely Admin CP controlled.
Turn News on/off (ACP)
The News Title (ACP)
The News Message (ACP)
Turn scroll on/off (ACP)
Determine the scroll direction (ACP)
The amount of times the scroll will loop (ACP)

To do list...

Time to install: 15 minutes
Queries to run: 0
File Mods: 3
- /admincp/global.php
- /admincp/index.php
- /forum/index.php
Templates to edit: 1
Templates to add: 1
New Phrases: 1

Please read carefully and make all the necessary changes at stated. This is will work if installed properly.

the code you put in is the php code. and he page code you had made is html code. html can't understand under php code.
if you would do that way i am recommend you go to google.com
and search for
html inside php or php inside html

then you have to fix the code page before it works.
i don't do that .. but i will try and let you know what it come out. ok

Hello to i am confuse in this part

In wath part i have to do this i am newbie on this in where i have to make that pharse or what php or template i have to do that and thanks in advance.

go to your CONTRO PANEL / it's in the section tempate. scroll down to bottom will see add new tempate for each tempate in exiting

Look on www.w3school.com (or schools, cant remember), and search for the marquee tag.

look this and see what part to add in:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

open your forumhome_newsbit and adjust your setting to anything you want even scripts, meida , playback function anything ok ...

Hi, when I add the code to the Global.php file and re-upload, then login to admincp, what I get under vBulletin Options is Admin Help Manager and not the mentioned text, so I can't add any varnames.

I'm running vb 3.0.7 with vBAdvance installed.

Any help would be appreciated.
