Miscellaneous Hacks - [Re Release] IRC Post Announcer

An EGGDROP or WINDROP IS REQUIRED!

Will announce new posts to specified IRC channel.
It's forum specific and admincp controlled.
It can also be set to announce a small portion of the message to the channel.
You can choose seperate channels per single forum and also seperate colors per single forum.

This version does not allow for multiple channels per single forum, does not use multiple bots and does not announce replys.

Later versions might if i ever get around to writing them.

No its not possible for this hack in its present state to announce replys as well.

For my first Question :

I want to activate the bot for all of my Forums ( 150 ), therefor i have asked for a SQL statement how i can do that.
The Chan Name and Color i was able to update, because those are Fields.

'ircpost' => 262144,
'ircmsg' => 524288

those are numbers for the Options in the Database / Forum Table. That was my Question, how i can update the ircpost and ircmsg for all forums via SQL Statement ?

seems to be that you activated secure for the cahnnel #crew ...

try registering the bots nick.

Then goto config of bot and add the auth line to it around init server commands or try http://www.egghelp.org/ for help on there forum for eggdrops.
The error is an eggdrop prob not a hack prob and it simply means your bots nick isnt registered and that you have your crew chan set to registered nicks only.
I forgot the mode for registered nicks only so cant tell you how to remove that and its very possible your server sets it auto so you cant remove it anyway.

However my eggdrop is recorded and to identify in #crew

HI I've installed this hack but My eggdrop send this error msg :

Can you help me I've just config this

I#ve got this error,

SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_3.7.1p2 Protocol mismatch.

Do somebody know what this mean or how I can fix the problem?

That tells me the board is sending nothing to the bot but the hack shouldnt try to do anything if it has nothing to send.
All i can suggest is you go over the install again and make sure you have no mistakes. The hack is connecting to the bot so you have that part right but theres a mistake elsewhere and I know this hack works so can only be user error.

I have no idea what that is im guessing thats a host issue. It would help if you mentioned where the error shows. Does it show on posting in your board or in your eggdrop?
