This checks the ftp if it is up or down automatticly it runs on mine and it's very nice only it makes the mods lazy :p

Not sure why u get that line, but remember to look for:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

Then add:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

It`s possible u have mixed it into one of the }

I `m not sure, need more code.

Hmm.. Is this maybe something for to old PHP version !??!

btw.. what PHP version do ya use ?!

ftp_connect requires php version 3.0.13 or above. If you recieve that error then you really should get your host to upgrade the php package for you.
