Watermark hack.

I've got it working with 3.6 no problems. Others are reporting problems

works with 3.5.5 for sure. Attachments must be in filesystem

If you get it to work with 3.6 please let me know. Thanks

1. Upload plugin
2. Create Watermark file Must be a PNG
3. upload watermark
4. change location inside plugin to point to your watermark file.

you can try it, but i dont think that will work, as it will be looking on the servers root folder, rather then /home/foldername/ folder where it should be placed.

trust us it works fine.

Are your attachmetns in the file system?
Does your host use GD2+ compiled on the server?
Is your path correct to the watermark?

Next pls

The pathinfo.php need to be uploaded through a ftp to same directory as the watermark image. And then needs to be ran in your browser.

For example lets just say to make it easy. You upload your watermark.png file to your public_html folder on your web site, then also upload the pathinfo.php to the same folder.

After this is done you would go to http://xxx.mauthoigian.org/pathinfo.php in you browser. This would give something that looks like this

/home/mtg/public_html/pathinfo.php

You would then take that info, remove the pathinfo.php and replace it with the name of your watermark image.So if you left the image name watermark.png it would look like this.

/home/mtg/public_html/watermark.png

Then this info would be copied into the hack for you image location..

Gosh I am long winded today...LOL

So my advise to you takiye is place you watermark.png in your public_html folder. Then use this for the image location.

/home/mtg/public_html/watermark.png

Hi all

I just been reading for awhile and it seems that threads that start out good dont seem to show much

best to redo the thread from the start that some can do the hack properly then everyone will benefit in the long run

if I wasnt working as much I would but (bloody phone) I have 4x phones here and have lots of work to do

thanks once the hack is done better - I'll pass on it for now till it works
