What this does
This will allow you to setup a icon to display by the title of each forum you have. The look of the icon depends on how you want to set it up in the templates. This will work for all levels of sub-forums.

Note:
This hack will work for vBulletin Version 3.5.0 RC-1 and RC-2 ONLY!

Time to install: 3 minutes
Queries to run: 1
File Mods: 0
Templates to edit: 2
Templates to add: 0
New Phrases: 1
New Plugins: 2

Template Edit
Alot of people want to get there icon like my screenshot. So you have bugged me enough for me to post how. :p Enjoy!

Replace Template: forumhome_forumbit_level1_post With The Folllowing:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

And Thats All!

Please read carefully and make all the necessary changes as stated. This is will work if installed properly.

I would really love to try this hack on my forum but I'm on 3.5.4 and I'm a php idiot.

Any chance to upgrade this hack to support 3.5.4 also?

I think what the above poster is referring to is that he has V3.5.4 and wants to know if this hack has been updated yet in order to be applied to a 3.5.4 board?

I’m running vb 3.5.0 and installed this hack following the instructions, adding the $forum[forumhomeicon] at forumhome_forumbit_level1_post and forumhome_forumbit_level2_post
I’d edited one forum to add an image, but nothing appears at my forum index where the image must be

What could be happening?

I could be wrong but this modification says it is for the RC version only.

Thanks iguanairs, you may be right, its only that I thought version 3.5.0 was almost equal than 3.5.0 RC1 or RC2. I don’t know about the differences and how they affect this hack

This hack would be very useful for me, and I’m hopping that it will work for my vb 3.5.0 and later versions. 3.6 Its coming

¿Is there any way to fix it?

running 3.5.4 full and it work like a charm for me! never added anything in phrase, hmm! maybe I should? hehe!

Make sure this is in front of your icon link <img src=" LINK GO"S HERE "> <--back of link, or your icon will not come up...
