What this does
This will allow you to setup a icon to display by the title of each forum you have. The look of the icon depends on how you want to set it up in the templates. This will work for all levels of sub-forums.

Note:
This hack will work for vBulletin Version 3.5.0 RC-1 and RC-2 ONLY!

Alot of people want to get there icon like my screenshot. So you have bugged me enough for me to post how. :p Enjoy!

Replace Template: forumhome_forumbit_level1_post With The Folllowing:

I am running VB 3.5 Gold

Where should I place $forum[forumhomeicon] ??

Can I put an icon next to only ONE main category?

i don't want to put the same icon on on all categories.

For example, let's say my forum is about gaming. I have 3 main categories: PSP, XBOX, PS2. I just want to place 3 of those logos next to each category.

Also, I cannot find in admin panel the place to enter the .gif path.
Please give me direction.

i have vb 3.5 gold and i tried this and when i try to add a pic to the catogory it shows this error:

Fatal error: Field forumhomeicon is not defined in $validfields in class vb_datamanager_forum in /includes/class_dm.php on line 485

i installed it on 3.5.3 but i get everytime i edit a forum this error

1. u add phrase @ admincp, Languages & Phrases -> Phrase Manager
2. i didn't installed it myself so can't be sure, but i can guess he prolly meant to add another
