Works fine, mikem. But u know, my navbar is full of link, and this additional Jump Menu takes much space and makes my navbar more complicated.
Take a look at the table above the navbar, in the fisrt column, do u find wasting space?

I myself tried for 1 hour to put the Jump Menu there, but failed! I added a column between 2 column of the table, and put the Jump Menu there. But the "Go" button is always stay below the option, that expands the height of the table. I can't make column of Jum Menu wider to fit the option and "Go" button.

I really don't know the solution. Here is the BASIC code of the table (pay attention to the value of width)
=======================
<table width="100%"><tr>

<td width="100%">list of forum</td>
<td width="200">$jump_menu</td>
<td>login</td>

</tr></table>

I see. In this version v2 as you can tell is which why I added it in the navbar. This way, you wont have that problem such as that. Again, I thought of that also because it too did the same with a long Text name which is a link. So this is how I came up with the best solution which is to add it within the navbar. Check out this version on this thread and be sure to download the correct file instructions. [vB 3.5.4] Custom Jump Menu v2 is the current updated version as of today you would want. I hope this will help and solve your problem and sorry for the mess if any.

Ok, it is also a good solution. I'll install this new hack and try to optimize my navbar. Good job, mikem.

Before, I haved searched in templates for code of the Jump Menu to put on my navbar, but failed. Maybe because I am not a coder.. I wonder whether it is impossible to do that or it would take u, a coder, much time to do that? If we can use the Jump Menu which is available, it is obviously better.
ex: we dont have edit forum names, and private forums are not showed to users...

p/s: I'm not a native-english speaker, so sometimes I can't expose my idea exactly, sorry. In summary, I approciate your work anyway, it is in fact useful for me.

@takiye, you are again so right. However, I will prolly be releasing another version which is the same as this although will be pulling the info from the database. However again, this is in another release in time. I have now, other ideas that must be taken care of and released before either 1, I get lazy again or 2, I have no time to do so since I also work. But thanks for installing this hack bro and good luck.:classic:

Ive changed this just about 5 times to make the instructions really simple. Sorry for the confusions, ive never submitted hacks and mods before for vbulletin, ive always kept my things to myself. But now, its another day and time for things to change. So I hope this will help you folks out. Again, I appologize and want to let you know, read this carfully because it really is simple, i just had my instructions wrong, not all is fixed and has been tested from scratch

I just found out that this only works for Internet Explorer. It will not work for FireFox. If any other results with any other browsers, please let me know. Thanks in advance....
