Hey, I got everything correct (ip, port, password) and it's visible on the Shoutcast servers and everything. However, the plug-in says the radio is down. What's the problem?

Hey I'm new to vB, but great hack. I was wondering if there is a way you can add something for requests into it, maybe a little box to type artist, song and a shout. And thanks again for the hack

Yo Dude Zachariah..ur not getting us right ..it nothing to do with our webhost ..when we download the file. there is nothing in there..WhTF.. i think u should install the folder of urs n See it ur self scast_home.xml.. There is nothin in there when u download the folder in this file scast_home.xml

Not a problem, it is a blank cache file 0KB.
It will have info and update once the script connects to your shoutcast server.
- CHMOD it 666 (allows PHP to update it) , you see when you upload files to the web server they automatically have a "read only" flag on them.

I will be redoing the entire layout of the hack and problems like this should be gone w/ self diag in the script to look for the correct file permissions.

this plugins ace - just a sugestion - i use 2 servers one for live djs and when there not on i revert to a 24/7 stream that uses the popular auto dj system that alot of shoutcast providers now provide - would be good to see this plugin prehaps instead of showing a station offline (when there are no live djs on) to reverting to another shoutcast server ie: the auto dj system - keep up the good work

maybe another shoutcast.php file needs to be made ie shoutcast1.php which the offline page would use - im no coder but im stuck from there onwards any suggestions anyone would love to get this going
