vB 3.6.0 Compatible!
Plugin
Well, this was asked for by many people (me included ) without ever being done so I recruited some of my more knowledgable friends in php to get the syntax right for the following hack.

It is done with 2 file edits but I'm sure that it could be done with a plugin if someone ever feels the need...

Step 1:
In admincp/email.php find:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Directly below it place:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Step 2:
In admincp/email.php find:

You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Directly below it place:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Step 3:
In includes/class_mail.php find:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
and replace with:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.

(you may modify this hack at will... No permission needs to be granted)

(additional note: Rex, next time you send an email, you may want to put a bit more info in it... took me ages to figure out you meant this hack!)

It installs on beta 3 but i just sent an email to my self and got a lump of htrml code. IT hadn't rendered properly... Any ideas?

ok, so just as a follow up: I copied the source off one of the vbhackers emails that was sent to me i then sent it to me via this hack and it came back asa lump of htl. I then changed the format in outlook to html and it looked the same... Any ideas?

do you have to add tags around it? eg. Head and body?

EDIT: i am an idiot i uploaded email.php to includes where i uploaded the class_mail.php script to xD
