This hack prevents guests and members not logged into your forum from seeing anything other than the first intial post in each thread. This encourages forum 'dwellers' to register on your forum, and deters them from using your server's resources. This hack is a variation of my 'Closed Thread Warning' hack. It can be used on both postbit and postbit legacy styles and uses CSS. A screenshot is shown below. Actual thread warning is animated. Enjoy ;)

I don't think so, but that's not etched in cement. You might be able to do it by playing around with a conditional.

I'm pretty sure the first version of this was for 3.5.4. You could try it if you want, just make sure that you make a BACKUP of all files/templates before you alter them

Another question: Before installing this hack, google was able to crawl all my entire forum and all thread content... now it is only crawling the first post of each thread, and that is not good for me....

Any way to change this so google can act as a registered member ?
Thanks

PS- I had installed already earlier Member Bots 1.0:
Member Bots 1.0 - Allow bots to act as members - vBulletin.org Forum

This isn't a problem with the hack. It's a problem with the way you have your bots set up in your ACP. Allow them to crawl as a registered member

That mod shouldn't be needed in 3.6.4 so I'll assume you have an older version
