Show Thread Enhancements - Limit First Post View To Guest

This hack prevents guests and members not logged into your forum from seeing anything other than the first intial post in each thread. This encourages forum 'dwellers' to register on your forum, and deters them from using your server's resources. This hack is a variation of my 'Closed Thread Warning' hack. It can be used on both postbit and postbit legacy styles and uses CSS. A screenshot is shown below. Actual thread warning is animated. Enjoy ;)

But there is no support for it if it doesn't work, and you'd be trying it out at your own risk, so please first back everything up

Is there any way to restrict users from viewing anything but the first post but allow search engines e.g. google and yahoo to view the whole thread and all the posts so it can index everything??

Simply put the search engines in a different usergroup other than guests, which they should be in anyway (I think default is member usergroup)

this is very cool.
So if you have a free access area and a premium access area, they can see the starting of the thread, no matter where the thread is, correct? Paid or free.
Question. can I edit the box that tells them to register and add premium access instructions also?

This looks great but I am going to ask the question that Cher brought up.

If you have a private area - ie admins forum, mods forum, premium forum, etc will the first post show to guests in every forum on your board? Anyway to not have it show the private areas if it does?
