IRC Post announcer v1.0 for vb3.5.0-Beta.1

An EGGDROP or WINDROP IS REQUIRED!

Will announce new posts to specified IRC channel.
It's forum specific and admincp controlled.
It can also be set to announce a small portion of the message to the channel.
You can choose seperate channels per single forum and also seperate colors per single forum.

This version does not allow for multiple channels per single forum, does not use multiple bots and does not announce replys.

Later versions might if i ever get around to writing them.

Install is easy.
Upload all files to host then goto http://yourhost/admincp/install_ircposter.php

Ok firstly you dont have a channel set

IRC_send($chan, $irc);

So either chan needs to be set or replace it with "#channame"

$chan = "#blabla"; or IRC_send("#blabla", $irc);

ok this is the code your using:

$tag = "\002[\002\0034NUKED\003\002]\002 ";
$text = $tag.'blaat';
IRC_send($chan, $irc); ($chan, $irc);

Now assuming you set $chan what exactly is $irc ?
because from what I can see you actually want it to send $text not $irc

then you did something wrong or your trying to install on a newer version of 3.5 beta that I havent tested on or released for.

install works with beta 1. i got sql errors (phrase table) while installing it on vb 3.5 beta 3
