What this does
Allows you to add a announcement to the forum home.

To do list...

• Time to install: As long as it takes you to import an xml file.
• New Templates: 1
• Template Edits: 0 (1 if you had version 1.0 installed)
• New Files: 0
• New Phrases: 9
• New Plugins: 1

1. Import product-nicks_homeannoncement.xml or product-nicks_homeannoncement345.xml

ONLY DO THIS STEP IF YOU INSTALLED VERSION 1.0
2. In template FORUMHOME:
FIND

You must first be a registered member to view any code.

AND REMOVE

Hello rogersnm. I've installed your latest version from vB.org which don't require any template modification. But I got a problem. Uncached template. I use Microstats. I notice every where in forum it shows "Uncached templates: nick_announce (1)". Even in login redirect window. Any help? It causes 1 extra query.

Anyways future sugestion: You can make it collapsible. Add an option to display to usergroup in ACP. Actually I just need not to show this to guests.

One of these versions is collapsable. It might be the bbcode version. As for the ACP usergroup perm option I'll add it into the next release along with the template caching. I'm pretty sure the bbcode version includes the template though so try that in the mean time.

I have come across a serious problem since yesterday.
I had installed Home announcement hack on my board and since then my site has been blank. Can anybody help me about this problem ?

Which one of them is the newest version?
