What this does
Allows you to add a announcement to the forum home.

To do list...

• Time to install: As long as it takes you to import an xml file.
• New Templates: 1
• Template Edits: 0 (1 if you had version 1.0 installed)
• New Files: 0
• New Phrases: 9
• New Plugins: 1

1. Import product-nicks_homeannoncement.xml or product-nicks_homeannoncement345.xml

ONLY DO THIS STEP IF YOU INSTALLED VERSION 1.0
2. In template FORUMHOME:
FIND

$nick_annouce

AND REMOVE

go into:
vBulletin Options > Nick's Forum Home Announcement It should be right at the bottom of the list.

note: if you had the v3.5.x one please re-import it.

doesnt show anything on forumhome for my board. using 3.5.4 and downloaded product-nicks_homeannoncement_v354.zip. Set the options in ACP and made the template change under navbar.. nothing /cry

But were I suppose to change the thingy under $navbar?
I don't quite understand the "ADD REMOVE" you're saying in the instructions :S

yes its really annoying when people decide to release a mod and it doesnt work / they cant be bothered to attach a decent set of instructions.

No need for the rude remarks. Roger is a nice guy and is releasing what he has been learning for the public to use for free. Give him alittle credit. I'm sure he will sort this out when he sees the thread.
