Miscellaneous Hacks - eXtend Show Spiders

What this hack does is extends vbulletins base functionality for $show['search_engine']. By defualt vbulletin only recognizes three spiders well this hack extends it to around 300 or so spiders.

I would say more about this and or provide screenshots if only that was possible for this. Basicly this is using a function i made to identify spiders and modified the vbulletin show variable for spiders.

This is a great seo mod becuase it helps filter out the useless junk that spiders dont care about.

This one was brough up on vbulletin.org already as well and i will quote myself from my post there.

I think many of the new vBull Adminstrators may be hesitant to admit they sometimes have a problem following the instructions for installing these hacks. As straighforward as these instructions may seem to the coders, it would be helpful if they would take a "vBulletin for dummies" approach when explaining how to effect an upgrade.

The php files in the "core" folder. These are intended for the "includes" Folder?... or?

"Upload the contents of the forums folder to your forums directory." Doesn't tell me much.

The path in the zip is: forums/ewt/core say your forums are in /forum on your server - http://www.yoursite.com/forum - double click on /forums and then select ewt and drag it into your ftp client. Make sure your ftp client is in the /forum directory though.
