That's what I has been asking for these days! But I hasn't got a image of how it works. Your live demo link is dead!

Live demo is working for me just fine. Try www.novamods.com and hit the enter button.

I could see your live demo, it works fine, but I had problem.
I installed your hack, a Jump Menu is displayed in the header of my board, but it don't work even when I click the button "Go""
I definitely completed 2 steps of installation

mikem, for saving spave, have u ever think of putting the Jump Munu on the table above the navbar? Can we add an extra column on the left of the login form, and put the menu there?

Yes, You may do so as for I was longing to do so myself. That idea was thought of it was just in matter of time from being lazy to do it LOL. Feel free to do so and PM me the codes so I can update it here. Thanks for the responce and its nice to know youve gotten it to work on your site.

Hello!

I am using vBull.v3.6, and I just can't get this to work...I put in the Link ie.

<option value="http://www.norfolkmanagementrentals.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=2">Symbian Mobile</option>

and it does't respond by taking me to that section when GO is pressed!

I followed what you presented, line by line...but no action!

Please can some fine soul help me?

Many thanks, in anticipation!

Br.

Ok, I'll tell u about my case:
- The html code don't matter at all. The problem comes from the scripts.

- When I copy and the scripts to the header, there is not a line-break as the scripts of the author, the scripts are displayed in ONE line! So when I copy and paste the scripts line-by-line, they are displayed exactly as the author, and the Jump Menu works fine.

You got what I mean? Hope we are in the same boat, so my explanations will be useful for u

BTW, the author has released a later version of this hack, u can take a look @ it.

As takiye stated, in the newer version, the go button was disabled/taken out because 1 it took up too much space that most people dont like, like myself. 2, the forum id and functions was setup to where you dont have to even press go even if that GO button was still there, which made that part pretty usless. So yea, check out the newer version (v2). Hopes that solves the problem. Thanks for trying it anyways.:classic:
