Same problem. I have an 11 meg DB. Databack backs up the DB to 6.5 megs (uncompressed), and I have 0 byte error log. Looks like a promising product should the bugs get worked out.

vBulletin 3.6.0 Requires a Varname Now when Adding New Scheduled Tasks.
What Varname Should I Put In?

I am having the same problem.. 86mb backup file and 0byte error log file?!?! this would be an awesome hack if it were to get fixed!! Also an auto prune would be nice so the directory doesn;t grow to large.

LiveWire, appreciate your new hack!

I'm new to all this Backup lark, and I've followed & installed the hack exactly as you said. I decided rather than wait for 23 hours for it to kick-in, I'd 'run' it...so I did this, and within a second it said 'DONE'...is this correct? I thought it would take far longer as I have nearly 200MB's of files etc ! Kindly advise me, plz!

As for a full restore, how would one do it using this way of backup?

I await your kind response!

Cheers!

Is this method as secure as doing a backup via SSH? My understanding was that phpmyadmin and vb admincp backups sometimes errored, whereas SSH does not.
