[AJAX] User Of The Day

If you want a screen shot just ask but i don't think it is really necessary

What this does
Picks a new user out of the database at midnight and then displays it on forumhome.

To do list...

* Time to install: 1
* New Templates: 1
* Template Edits: 1
* New Files: 2
* New Phrases: 0
* New Plugins: 1

Instructions
Import the attached XML and then Upload random.php to ./includes/cron and pickuser.php to forumroot. Add $randomusertable anywhere you want. I suggest under $navbar in FORUMHOME. Add a cron job with the Name: User of The Day which runs every:
Month: *
Hour: 0
Minute: 0
And then file: ./includes/cron/random.php

Can you make it so that it picks a person with over a certain reputation or time as a member or number of posts?

should be able. You'll have to give me a definative 1 though. ie Posts, time OR reputation.

Nice Hack ...can you do it to pick up the member of the day that has the most posts of the day exlouting the staff members or to have an on and of batton for the staff?
The xmb has somthing like it for long time.

It's a cron job. You need to go into scheduled tasks.

Oh, I am using the hack with 3.6
So, I was wondering what the Varname was. And another thing, I fixed it, but now it does not work at all again. There is a varname for the cron job done. I need to enter it. What is it?
