Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

i've installed this though when i shout i ghet redirected to vbshout.php? and its a white page. ?

Try disabling it. It might be another mod rather than the shoutbox.
Same here. 3G in 7 days and 8G in 14 days on the other one.
I need to find something else......

Your style may not be compatible with the auto changes (you might have to do template edits manually). Try using the default vb style.

Quick Shout-Out: "Thank you, Zero Tolerance. Thank you all that have posted in this thread."
Thanks to Axelrose's initial post #400, hvyhitter's #864 reference post.
But, adding the timestamp as suggested (which "works" sort of) changes all Shoutbox entries to the time ZONE of the last person to post a Shoutbox shout. That's not right, is it.
Is there a GMT Time call (vs. the 'time' call) to, say, use GMT as a baseline time zone for all shouts? I couldn't find/figure it out from researching theNet.

Im getting the stuck at loading error .. I have searched and tried all the suggestions and still its stuck on loading


sb/vbshout.html both 777
ajax enabled

what am i doing wrong?

hi,guys..ı want to know whether we can put some restrictions such as message numbers in the forum,in this modifications, ı have 45.000 users and ı don't put some restrictions such as message number,registration time or like this..because the shoutbox gets slower when there are many users..
