Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

Not the text, but the box itself.............
adminCP > vBulletin Options > vBShout Options > Shouts To Display / Shoutbox Height
Change the height of the 'shouts' display element in pixels

Hi, I would like to install it, but I don't want it on top or bottom but in a right side column.
Now on Vb.org there is a hack to integrate vbshout 2.0 into vBAdvanced.
Will the samen integration hack work with this version?

P.s. it says you are code over there too, over there they have a fixed_v3 version, which is beter then? I'm getting confused, same coder, different opinions?

Im having trouble installing. I think this is the step that gets me

Install the 'product' XML file into your forum

just upload it to the main forum directory?

I installed it and it keeps saying No Shouts. If you view the archive, you can see the shouts, but you can't see the shouts on the forum home... Any ideas?

Fixed it! D'oh!!! Didn't have vbshout.html chmod to 777. Had the sb folder chmod 777 but not the vbshout.html

how can i get the TM & R & C trademark signs to show up properly in the shoutbox, if a user had that in his nick, it gets replaced as a question mark.. need to avoid that.. how?>
