Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

your not supposd to upgrade i don't believe re-install is the term unistall the old and install the new due to different product id's.

oh an is there any way to fix the slight case of double smilies? I mean i found a way but is their a way to do it without recoding it? (which is what i did.)

nice! can I use the same hack that was used for the shoutbox to make it into a "block" on VbAdvanced?
not so much a hack but the way it was done at vb.org?

that might not work by the looks of things as it redefines the javascript to an old version with a few modifications it would work though.

Hello there!

First i'd like to congratulate you for your job Zero ;) Inferno technologies are really good products!

So, i've read the few previous posts and realised that the different bugs can't be fix :S What a bad thing...

So, the most urgent one is obviously the fix of é, è, ê, etc. because i'm french so my board is a french one too... If i could help you to make this bug fix by doing something, tel me, and i will ;)

I've now installed this and it is working great.

However I was just wondering what the steps are to put back in the timestamps like it used to be (my members are crying like little babies that its gone) lol

you just have to take <!-- and --> out around the timestamp and it will be there.

I'll try to find where I can do this modification but without success, could you explain in which file I have to take this things out ?
My members are crying too since the timestamps disappear lol and all my members come from the same timezone so there is no problem with that...

But I'll remove them in the template but unfortunately it doesn't work... The timestamps don't appear at all... is there another thing to do ?

can you please tell me how to add timestamp [which file exactly and which line]
