Major Additions - [AJAX/Flatfile] vBShout 2.1

Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

I'm want to put my "current active users box" right below my shoutbox but can't seem to quite figure out how to get it there.

that is, have "current active users box" move WITH the shoutbox, to whereeer I have the shoutbox.

any suggestions as to how I could do that?

adminCP > vBulletin options > vBShout options > edit settings

Banned Permissions

Choose access permissions for banned users, by default they will not be able to post shouts.

those 3 options should cover everything you need ;)

adminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Edit Templates (you need to do this with each skin if they are seperate) > ForumHome Templates (expand these) > forumhome_vbshout_shout > Edit/customize

nice work there mate, I was wondering if I was going to have to live without the time there :pirate:

Now is there a way to allow the times to auto update like every 60 sec?

not sure what you mean, the time only displays when someone shouts, do you mean a clock that continuosly shows the updated time ?

Maybe a silly question.....instead of a timestamp with times....what about just having how long ago the post was made (for example: 1 minute ago.....instead of 1 minute ago at o1:30?)
