Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

Try purging? With as many people as you have shouting at once your probaly eating up allot of room. And have you checked with your host to make sure its not causing any issues with the server? And see how much resources its using. Maybe they are blocking you. And do you have a bandwidth limit?

I do not see any option anywhere in the CP to ban anyone or any usergroup from using or seeing the shoutbox? What am I missing? I do not want guest or banned members to view the box at all.

I'm want to put my "current active users box" right below my shoutbox but can't seem to quite figure out how to get it there.

that is, have "current active users box" move WITH the shoutbox, to whereeer I have the shoutbox.

any suggestions as to how I could do that?

adminCP > vBulletin options > vBShout options > edit settings

Enter banned users here, split each UserID with a comma, like so: 1,2,3

Banned Usergroups

Enter banned usergroups here, split each UsergroupID with a comma, like so: 1,2,3

Banned Permissions

Choose access permissions for banned users, by default they will not be able to post shouts.
those 3 options should cover everything you need ;)
