Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

anything past 10 smilies will show doubles, is there a way to fix this?

Well Zero Tolerance, I must admit you're talented in both coding and designing good mods.

To me, and many of my community members this is one of the best and most liked modification, was sad to see you being inactive on vB.org a long time back, but this sure brings back hope.

I hope you realize the importance and how popular this modification is, keep up the great work.

How to remove the day notification in the timestamp?

* Is it possible to add a condition to forumhome_vbshout_shout template so when a member puts an url in (for example) userfield 10, that when the condition is true (user has an url placed) a small avatar appear next to the member's name. If it is not true (else) member name is default without image.

Thanks Zero for the install. Much appreciated. This version cleared up my server resource problem and my forum is not running with a .23 load....!!!!

I have your hack running on my forum, the new version which did help but didnt fix my issue. My users love it to death. Problem is it keeps crashing my apache/mysql. I have about 100 active users in the chat going. By the end of the day I have millons of key strokes recorded. My users love this hack so much. What can I do to keep it running and not crash my site. We need this hack!

With the old version i had a time of post and now only the post.
