Major Additions - [AJAX/Flatfile] vBShout 2.1

Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

due to the flatfile system it works differently, the prune file for 2.0 just pruned the database you'll find if you go into the archive which still uses the db the shouts should be pruned and i do believe that once you shout it will update. But it would be possible.

yes, you could just ban them and it would work the same way, set can't view shoutbox and ban them.

Does this have a command file anywhere to use with this? Readme says yes, wanting to see what commands can be used with this...

* Nick R - Turns the text red and puts "*[username] [other text]*" there. EG: /me slaps you turns into "*rogersnm slaps you*"

/prune - delete every shout
/prune [user] - deletes every shout by [user]
/prune [shout] - deletes the shout with the text [shout]

Gotcha
I guess the first step would be making it global by putting the vbshout on all pages. After that you should just be able to add the variable in a template...

As for the html file being located in /sb/, just a personal preference of my own, but surely I can't see any harm between that and the root directory, each to their own I guess

But I would like to know something :

It is normal you have removed the date line for all shouts? It's a useful information.
A little suggestion: can you phrase your product for all text?
There is some errors when you want to upgrade from vBShout 2.0. There is some errors when you want to upgrade from vBShout 2.0.
You must to define the version of the existing install code to 2.0 and create in the same time a new install code (for 2.1) to write existing shouts in the .html file if shouts already existing from a previous version.
Without this new install code and if you make an upgrade, the code who get the .html file (in the top of vbshout.php) displayed 'no shouts' despite existing shouts.
I report a problem with all letters with accent, like : é è à or ç ... It's OK on the BDD, in the archive, and in the html file, but NOK in the shout
