Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

Search this thread there is a way to show timestamps but it takes the time from the persons pc and changes for each shout..

Please look at my site carefully. There is content (4 icons) on the right side of the shoutbox. I do not wish to lose that, hence why I said "custom location". If I chose above forum, then I lose the other content on the right side of my current shoutbox. I do not want that.

Is that content in your current shoutbox template? If so you would need to add that contents html code into the forumhome_vbshout template.

i added more shouts to archive

in vbshout.php about half way to 3/4 down start looking for

about 20 lines below u will see

i changed 10 to 100 to display 100 shouts per page... im no coder but it seems to be working so far.

My solutions for timestamps do not take the user's timezone... it remains the same but it relies on javascript

People are putting html into the shoutbox to screw the entire index page up - do you have a fix for it?
